When I am diving underwater, I enter a whole new world where I am no longer constrained by the laws of gravity.    In this world I have found a true passion for the undersea life.  Although Sheri and I are just beginning divers and underwater photographers, we both enjoy it immensely and cherish the memories.  
                                                               



    Have you ever been face to face with a 500 lb Loggerhead  Turtle?    They are very curious, gentle and agile for such a large creature.  How about seeing a Manta Ray with a wing span wider than your living room?  The only word that comes to mind is "majestic".

Sharks attack some 50-75 people each year worldwide, with perhaps 8-12 fatalities, according to data compiled in the International Shark Attack File (ISAF). Although shark attacks get a lot of attention, this is far less than the number of people killed each year by elephants, bees, crocodiles, lightning or many other natural dangers. On the other side of the ledger, we kill somewhere between 20-100 million sharks every year through fishing activities.
